The Drakoo-B0010 (10kWp) wave energy converter full-system prototype generated continuous and steady electricity which successfully drives a total electrical load of 9.3 kW on November 17, 2017.

The research and development of Drakoo wave technology have gone through more than nine years effort. On November 17, 2017, our Drakoo-B0010 (10kWp) wave energy converter full-system prototype generated continuous and steady electricity which successfully drives a total electrical load of 9.3 kW, including four sets of 1.5kW air blowers and 66 spotlights (0.05kW each), which has reached the electrical peak capacity of the system

Since the first trial of "Drakoo" B0010 conducted on December 23, 2016, Hann-Ocean R&D team has continuously optimised its generating capacity and increased the power load through numerous improvements and experiments. The Drakoo power output performance in terms of peak power, RMS power and stability is progressing rapidly, starting from 1kW to 9.3kW within 11 months only.

Hence, the WEC Drakoo-B0010 (10kWp) is now ready to provide clean energy for coastal areas and islands. Meantime, we will further upgrade the electrical control system for higher power output.
