RigidFloat Rigid Pontoon Connector (RPC)

Designed for connecting multiple pontoons in rough seas, Hann-Ocean’s Rigid Pontoon Connectors (RPC) were originally developed for defence applications and have since transitioned into general water construction and architectural spaces. As its name implies, RPC offers completely rigid joints at pontoon interfaces which makes for extremely stable floating platforms of very large sizes.

RigiFloat Concrete-Steel-Composite Pontoon

In long-term installations where durability is paramount, modular CSC pontoons offer unparalleled service. An outer layer of waterproof concrete encases a water-tight hull made of steel. RPC connectors are used to integrate the pontoons which provide the installation with the necessary strength and rigidity. CSC pontoons offer superior stability and wave attenuation when compared to CPS units on account of their larger lightship displacement (weight).

Detachable Crane Barge

Hann-Ocean’s novel crane barge design is certified by DNV GL. It can operate 100 km offshore in waves up to 5 meters high. Fitted with ballast tanks of 200 ton capacity, the barge can be loaded with any crawler crane of up to 180 ton deadweight. A total of 72 RPC units are used to join 19 units of CPS4088N pontoons rigidly which makes for a very stable platform during crane operations. Customization of the barge is also possible to suit specific needs.
