RigiFloat Floating Platform Successfully Completes On-Water Assembly Test

17/11/2023

On 12 November 2023, Hann-Ocean Technology successfully completed the on-water assembly test of the RigiFloat floating platform in the presence of the client. The floating platform consists of 17 modules with an area of 508 square meters and will be used to transport mining equipment and vehicles. After a careful preparation, the whole assembly took only 5.5 hours, setting a new record.

According to the time logging of the event, the shortest time from hoisting to assembly of a single module was 2 minutes and 26 seconds, and the average time was 3 minutes and 16 seconds. Among them, due to the lack of buoyancy of the bow pontoon and the stern pontoon, the assembly was more difficult and took two hours, but on the whole, the assembly process was very smooth, proving the convenience and efficiency of the RigiFloat floating platform technology.

RigiFloat is Hann-Ocean Technology's proprietary patented technology, and its modular design makes it highly flexible and can be expanded and adjusted according to actual situation. The technology enables customers to build large size working platforms or spaces on water, providing the bases for offshore construction, harbour construction, and the utilization of offshore space, including living, travel, F&B, fishing, recreation, and mining. It provides an innovative solution to the traditional way of reclaiming land.

The successful completion of the on-water assembly test of the floating platform not only set a new record, but also fully demonstrated the potential of the RigiFloat floating platform in offshore engineering and other fields. Its innovative design concept, exquisite manufacturing technology and convenient operation provide new ideas and solutions for future offshore engineering and coastal city development. Hann-Ocean Technology will dedicate itself to technological innovation and continue to improve and promote the RigiFloat floating platform technology.
