Hann-Ocean Energy Technology (Nantong) Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore-based Hann-Ocean Energy, will make a strong appearance at the 2025 China Marine Economy Expo (CMEE), scheduled for October 28–30 in Shenzhen.

At the exhibition, Hann-Ocean will present its flagship Drakoo modular wave energy generator, a technology that has undergone more than 10,000 hours of laboratory and offshore testing and has been independently validated by the UK’s National Renewable Energy Centre (NAREC) and Det Norske Veritas (DNV). The third-generation Drakoo has proven its efficiency in low-wave conditions and resilience in extreme seas, remaining fully operational during Super Typhoon Khanun with waves reaching six meters. The company is now advancing the fourth-generation array system, designed for both fixed and floating deployment to support large-scale offshore clean energy applications.

In addition, Hann-Ocean will showcase the RigiFloat containerized floating platform, designed for rapid assembly, robust stability, and versatile offshore applications. RigiFloat provides a reliable infrastructure solution for wave energy stations, floating operations, and integrated renewable platforms.

Together, these technologies demonstrate Hann-Ocean’s ongoing commitment to developing sustainable, stable, and efficient marine renewable energy solutions. By integrating wave energy into applications such as island power supply, seawall reinforcement, and offshore energy bases, Hann-Ocean continues to advance its mission of “empowering the future with waves” and contributing to a global low-carbon, blue economy.
