17/01/2013

Our showcase of the world’s first small wave energy converter received overwhelming response from the general public, research institutes, renewable energy device traders, energy authorities of various countries as well as the news media. Hann Ocean Energy was featured on the Indo-Asian News Channel as well as in a special TV broadcast on the WFES 2013 on 15th January 2013 by Emirates 24/7 of Dubai Media.

Visitors from around the world, including those from the Middle Eastern regions have shown very strong interest in this new ocean renewable energy technology. Representatives from UAE (Dubai and Abu Dhabi), Saudi Arabia, China, France, India, Egypt, Australia, UK, USA, Maldives, Indonesia and Japan, are actively exploring partnerships with Hann-Ocean for both pilot project developments as well as product distributorship in their respective regions.

Small communities from islands and villages with rivers and coastal waters have indicated strong desires to apply the Drakoo technology beyond mere wave energy applications, but also for stream current renewable energy, thanks to the highly efficient Drakoo power take-off system. The keen interest displayed by various governmental organizations’ and energy authorities on Drakoo is another strong indication of the attractiveness of the Drakoo technology.
