On 5 May 2023, Hann-Ocean Technology successfully signed a contract with PanAust from Australia to design and build 17 units of RigiFloat containerized modular pontoons to be assembled into a modular ro-ro ferry for the transportation of mining equipment and vehicles.

RigiFloat is the self-developed patented technology of Hann-Ocean. These floating modules can be assembled into large working platform on water by using the Rigid Pontoon Connector (RPC), to provide a base for offshore construction, port construction, and the utilization of offshore space, including life, entertainment, mining.

The Internationally Patented Rigid Pontoon Connector (RPC) is independently developed and type-approved by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS). It is easy and fast to operate, ensuring the superior robustness and durability of the entire platform with easy maintenance.

After successfully supplying 36 units of RigiFloat pontoons to Polaris Marine Construction in Australia in 2022, the signing of this new contract marks a new breakthrough in Hann-Ocean Technology’s floating platform business in the Australian market, further strengthening its competitive edge in the international market.
