Today, we are thrilled to share a momentous occasion! On the auspicious date of April 12, 2024, Hann-Ocean Technology and Walden International Commerce from Singapore have joined forces in a landmark partnership. This agreement entrusts Hann-Ocean with the pivotal task of designing and constructing a monumental 1,200-ton modular floating jetty. This is not just a structure; it is a testament to the dynamic future of the developing ecological resort on the breathtaking Lindeman Island, nestled in the vast expanse of Australia.
What truly distinguishes this jetty from conventional structures is its extraordinary resilience. It is meticulously engineered to withstand the test of time and the fury of nature, designed to endure a century's worth of cyclonic weather patterns. The sheer scale of this achievement is a testament to the state-of-the-art technology and expertise that Hann-Ocean brings to the table.
The floating jetty is designed to be assembled on water using 20 units of RigiFloat 40-foot containerised pontoons, connected with 77 RPC connectors, which are Hann-Ocean's patented technologies. The RigiFloat technology, developed in 2007, has been used in numerous projects for both nearshore and inland water applications. It not only sets the standard for modular floating platform connections (approved by ABS, GL, DNV and LR ship classification societies), but it has also garnered high satisfaction and recognition from clients in Southeast Asia and Australia.
The construction of the modular jetty incorporates several of Hann-Ocean's international patent technologies, including RigiFloat pontoon and connector inventions. The company has opted for the modular approach to manufacturing these components, choosing to fabricate them within the borders of China. This strategy allows for greater control over quality and efficiency during production. Once these modules are crafted to perfection, they are transported to their final destination in Australia, where they are carefully assembled on-site.
One of the most commendable aspects of this project is our unwavering commitment to environmental conservation. At Hann-Ocean, we are fully dedicated to minimising disruption to the local ecosystem. Every step of the design and installation process has been meticulously planned to ensure the smallest possible ecological footprint. This project is a testament to our deep respect for the natural surroundings and our commitment to preserving the environment for future generations.
In summary, this partnership between Hann-Ocean and Walden International Commerce (Singapore) represents a triumph in engineering, sustainability, and international collaboration. The 1,200-ton modular floating jetty, poised to become a cornerstone of the Lindeman Island ecological resort, is the emblem of Hann-Ocean's forward-thinking and environmentally responsible approach, promising a bright future for tourism and environmental preservation in Australia.
