After three months of preparation efforts Hann-Ocean Energy successfully certified the business license for its subsidiary in China on the 9th of February 2015, with the full name is Hann-Ocean Energy Technology and Equipment (Nantong) Co., Ltd. This subsidiary company will focus on the products and services of ocean renewable energy, which may be applied in industry electricity demands or desolated islands for residences. Cooperation with large wind farms on the ocean or floating solar energy platform projects on the ocean and lakes is amongst Hann-Ocean’s plans.

This milestone enabled Hann-Ocean to start its business and operation in China. According to the business license, the registered capital is $1.3 million Singapore dollars. The business scope on the renewable energy generation integrated systems and equipment includes: research and development, production and sales, post-sales services, business consulting, commissioning (excluding auction) and commercial and trend consulting services.
