On May 6 and 7, 2016, the fifth China annual meeting Marine renewable energy development was held in Zhoushan. Leaders of Oceanic Administration introduced the support policy for Marine renewable energy development and the development situation in and outside China. Advanced technology in the field of ocean renewable energy has been the main topic of the day. Mr. Henry Han had the honor to give his speech on the Drakoo wave energy converter.

During the meeting a 90-million RMB demonstration project tender was announced, demonstrating the determination and efforts of renewable energy development.
